Maybe you’ve been there… you know, when you run out of candy on Halloween night and have to shut off all the lights, stay quiet and pretend you’re not home?
Even though we often spend a small fortune in Halloween candy, it never fails that we fret about running out – and some years we HAVE run out! We’ve done the shutting-off-the-lights-thing, but it never fails that some little ghosties will still ring the doorbell! UM. Hello? Doesn’t it look like no one’s home?

If you have to be the bearer of bad news, might as well make that message look cute right?
I put mine in a black 8×10 frame, to put on a small table outside by the front door. But you could also simply tape it to the front door as well.
